vivo unveils its newest telephoto lens: a 400mm telephoto lens (equivalent to 400mm)

After vivo launched the Zeiss 200mm teleconverter last year, it became a veritable concert magic weapon.

The X200 and X300 series achieved the number one market share on both the Sesame Rental and Renren Rental platforms in 2025, accounting for over 50%.

vivo product manager Han Boxiao posted today that, in order to further fulfill the promise of “200 million telephoto lens for ultra-clear images, even on mountaintops, it’s like being a VIP,” two new teleconverters have been launched.

The 400mm teleconverter is equivalent to 400mm, which is not only the highest magnification in the industry, but may also be the ceiling for telephoto capabilities of mobile phone teleconverters.

It supports optical output of 200 million pixels, which is a full 17.4x pure optical 200 million pixels based on 23mm as 1x.

The new 200MP Thanos telephoto lens adds support for 3° optical image stabilization and Blueprint 60fps high refresh rate autofocus, achieving CIPA 4.5 image stabilization even after adding a teleconverter.

It truly achieves usability at 400mm, and even 1600mm is highly usable, truly maximizing its “wilderness” capabilities.

Lipstick 200: The second generation 200mm, with the goal of being lighter and more portable.

The overall weight has been reduced by 27%, to only 153g, and the volume has been significantly reduced as well.

Despite reducing weight, length, and size, the image quality is improved, the number of lens elements has increased from 13 to 15, and CIPA 6.5 image stabilization is still achieved.

In addition to the newly added distance lens, it also has the most comprehensive mode adaptation: fully adapted to 14 modes, including portrait, stage, slow motion and other modes, and also adds support for Live Photo, dual-view video recording and shooting in the recording.

Han Boxiao stated frankly: This is the Zeiss Master Lens series, built entirely according to the concept of professional cameras. From 14mm, 35mm, and 85mm to 200mm and 400mm, five lenses share the same standard: all large sensors, all Zeiss lenses, all high image quality, all golden focal lengths, and all focal length super image stabilization.
