The upcoming Vivo X Fold 3 series is set to feature the world’s most powerful and expensive 8-inch Samsung E7 display, outperforming all other folding screen phones, as revealed by Chinese leaker on March 4th, according to Fast Technology.

The Vivo X Fold 3 boasts an inner screen size of 8.03 inches, utilizing Samsung’s E7 luminescent material for more accurate colors and lower power consumption. It achieves a peak brightness of 3000 nits, a resolution of 2K+, and a screen-to-body ratio of 91.8%, leading the industry in shock resistance and flatness.

The outer screen measures 6.53 inches, also reaching a peak brightness of 3000 nits. It supports 8T LTPO technology and ultrasonic fingerprint unlocking, featuring the same type of microcrystalline glass used by Huawei, which is the hardest in the industry.

The Vivo X Fold 3 series, comprising the standard Vivo X Fold 3 and the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 in the standard version and the Snapdragon 8 Gen3 platform in the Pro version. The standard model emphasizes a slim and light experience, aiming to set a new record for the thinnest and lightest folding screen phone.

In terms of design, the Vivo X Fold 3 series continues the design language of its predecessor, with a circular camera module on the back. The periscope telephoto lens and Zeiss logo align perfectly, with the ultra-wide and main cameras positioned below, and the flash integrated within the circular camera module.
