vivo X500 Appearance Leaked: Return to Top Left Circular Camera Module Paying Homage to the Classic X90 Design
According to information revealed by a blogger, the standard version of the vivo X500 will no longer use a large circular lens module in the center, but will instead use a circular lens design in the upper left corner. This means that the X500 has returned to the classic layout of the X90 series to some extent.
Looking back at the vivo X90 released in November 2022, the phone adopted a circular DECO design in the upper left corner and added the iconic “ribbon cloud step” waistline to the back panel. This waistline divides the body into the shooting area and the grip area according to the golden ratio, and is printed with the words “Xtreme Imagination”, which is highly recognizable and has become a major visual symbol of the X90 series.
It’s currently uncertain whether the X500 will replicate the X90’s “ribbon cloud-like” waistline design, but the basic layout of its lens module is no longer a mystery. Notably, the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max retain the centrally located circular lens module, clearly differentiating them from the standard version in terms of rear design.
In terms of hardware configuration, the vivo X500 will be the first to feature the Dimensity 9600 chip. Reports indicate that the Dimensity 9600 is a derivative of the Dimensity 9500, manufactured using TSMC’s 3nm process, and consists of four super-cores and four performance cores, with an AnTuTu benchmark score expected to exceed 4 million. The X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max will be the first to feature the 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro chip, which adopts a new 2+6 core design and is expected to achieve even higher benchmark scores.
Currently, the vivo X500 series has obtained network access permission, model number V2609A. This phone has also registered several AI models, including the self-developed BlueHeart model, Zhipu AI, Wenxin Yiyan, Doubao model, DeepSeek, and Tongyi Qianwen, covering various scenarios such as daily office work, creative work, and search, providing users with a rich selection of AI services.
