In terms of CPU architecture, the Dimensity 9600 Pro adopts a brand-new 2+3+3 layout. This combination consists of 2 Canyon ultra-large cores, 3 Gelas-b performance cores, and 3 Gelas performance cores, aiming to achieve a perfect balance between extreme power and daily energy efficiency.
Notably, the chip’s maximum clock speed is close to 5GHz. This makes the Dimensity 9600 Pro the highest-frequency SoC in the series’ history. Compared to the previous generation Dimensity 9500’s 4.21GHz clock speed, this leap in frequency will bring users unprecedented responsiveness.
In addition to the breakthrough in core frequency, the new chip also introduces the latest SME2 instruction set and integrates a high-performance Arm Magni GPU. In terms of storage specifications, it fully supports LPDDR6 memory and the cutting-edge UFS 5.0 flash memory protocol, completely eliminating hardware transmission bottlenecks.
Following industry practice, the new Dimensity 9600 series will debut in the vivo X500 series.
