vivo Y600i released: 8000mAh battery with 7-year durability, IP68/IP69 waterproof.

Fast Technology reported that vivo launched its new model, the vivo Y600i, which is currently available for pre-order with full payment and will officially go on sale on September 30th. The phone’s main features include an 8000mAh long-life blue ocean battery and robust ruggedness.

It offers two versions: 6GB+128GB and 6GB+256GB, priced at 1699 yuan and 1999 yuan respectively. The phone comes in three colors: Starry Sky, Sky Blue, and Midnight Black.

In terms of appearance, the Y600i adopts a straight screen and straight edge design. The body is made of composite board, the mid-frame uses a micro-arc anti-fingerprint process, the rear camera module uses a one-piece aviation aluminum Deco, and is equipped with a rear dynamic breathing light ring for notification reminders and charging status indication. The body dimensions are 169.55 x 79.20×8.69mm, and the weight is 229g.

The front features a 6.87-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1592×720, supporting a 120Hz high refresh rate and true DC flicker-free dimming, with a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The screen is certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light and supports global eye protection functions such as AI full-scene bionic brightness adjustment 2.0 and anti-fatigue brightness adjustment 2.0.

It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 (SM4450) processor, which uses Samsung’s 4nm process and features a 2+6 core design, consisting of a 2.2GHz A78 large core and a 1.95GHz A55 small core. The GPU is an Adreno 613, and the storage combination is LPDDR4X + UFS 2.2. It is available in two versions: 6+128GB and 6+256GB.

It supports memory fusion technology for up to 12GB of RAM and comes pre-installed with OriginOS 7 based on Android 16, with an official promise of 50 months of smooth operation.

It features an 8-megapixel front-facing portrait lens and a dual-camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 50-megapixel main camera and an auxiliary lens. It supports shooting modes such as dynamic photos, portrait mode, and watermark camera.

Battery life is a key highlight. The new phone has a built-in 8000mAh long-life blue ocean battery, which uses silicon-carbon anode technology and supports 44W wired fast charging and wired reverse charging. According to official data, it can achieve 57 hours of music playback, 40 hours of continuous talk time, 25 hours of short video playback, and 16.7 days of standby time.

The battery retains at least 80% capacity after 1500 cycles, providing up to 7 years of durability. With global direct drive power supply 2.0, charging while playing can effectively reduce heat generation, and it also supports stable use in extreme cold environments of -20℃ and extreme heat environments of 45℃.

In terms of protection, the vivo Y600i has passed the IP68+IP69 waterproof certification of the China Quality Certification Center and has obtained the SGS Gold Label Five-Star Whole Machine Drop and Shock Resistance Certification. It is equipped with five layers of protection, including the Diamond Shield Glass, Diamond Rock Structure, and Diamond Anti-drop Back Panel. It has passed the 1.7m extreme height drop test and 41 drops from 1.2m in both directions.

In terms of other features, this device is equipped with side fingerprint recognition, a 400% loud speaker, NFC, infrared remote control, electronic wallet, and one-touch file transfer.

For senior users, it features built-in AI anti-fraud functions, supporting AI recognition of fraud scripts, AI fraud call alerts, remote assistance from family members, and a simplified mode 2.0 that supports large fonts, one-click access to the flashlight for QR code payments, and remote assistance.
