Today is the 14th anniversary of the birth of Xiaomi mobile phone. The first Xiaomi mobile phone product was officially released on August 16, 2011, which set off a revolution in the entire domestic mobile phone industry.

Lei Jun posted a message this morning to celebrate the 14th birthday of Xiaomi mobile phone, and announced that he has prepared 2,000 copies of the “Xuanjie O1 flagship processor commemorative edition” for everyone.

Interested friends can go to the Xiaomi Mall App and search for “Xiaomi Lottery”, enter the lottery page and participate in the event.

The “Xuanjie O1 Flagship Processor Commemorative Edition” given away this time is the same model as the one Lei Jun showed to executives before. The chip design drawing is engraved on an aluminum plate, and the Xuanjie O1 chip body is embedded in the middle.

In addition, there is the signature of Lei Jun, chairman of Xiaomi Group, below.

When this souvenir was announced before, many netizens liked it very much and strongly recommended that it be put on sale, but Xiaomi has not yet started selling it. Friends who want it should not miss it this time.

Xuanjie O1 is not only a major breakthrough for Xiaomi, but also the first 3nm chip developed and designed in mainland China.

The lower the process technology value, the higher the transistor integration and the stronger the performance.

At the 3nm process node, the size of transistors is approaching the physical limit. It is not only technically difficult, but also has high requirements for product scale and ecology. Many global technology giants have failed here.

Behind the advent of Xiaomi chips, an average daily R&D investment of tens of millions of yuan is maintained, and the R&D team has more than 2,500 people.

According to Xiaomi’s official introduction, the strategy of self-developed chips has been launched for 10 years, and the research and development of large chips SoC was officially restarted in 2021. After more than four years and spending 13.5 billion yuan, it finally produced results, and another 6 billion yuan will be invested this year.

The Xuanjie O1 chip has an area of 109mm² and has 19 billion transistors, reaching the world’s top-tier performance level.

The CPU adopts a 10-core 4-cluster architecture, equipped with two Arm Cortex-X925 super cores, four A725 performance cores, two low-frequency A725 energy-efficient cores and two A520 super energy-efficient cores.

The GPU uses the latest Immortalis-G925 16-core graphics processor and supports dynamic performance scheduling technology.
