Xiaomi POCO X8s Launches Overseas: 6.35-inch Small Screen, 6330mAh Battery
Fast Technology reported that Xiaomi’s POCO brand recently launched its new smartphone, the POCO X8s, overseas, emphasizing its small screen and relatively comprehensive hardware configuration. The phone features a 6.35-inch LTPO flat screen, a fourth-generation Snapdragon 7 processor, a 6330mAh battery, 100W fast charging, and a 50MP telephoto lens.
In terms of screen, the POCO X8s features a 6.35-inch AMOLED flat screen with a resolution of 2656×1220, supports a 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, and is equipped with M10 luminescent material. The official claim is that its peak brightness reaches 3500 nits in multiple scenarios. The phone also adopts a 1.18mm four-sided equal-bezel design, further improving the screen-to-body ratio.
In terms of core configuration, the POCO X8s is equipped with a fourth-generation Snapdragon 7 processor built on a 4nm process, the POCO 3D IceLoop cooling system, and offers two storage combinations: 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB. It runs on Xiaomi’s Surge OS3 system.
In terms of imaging, the phone features a triple-camera setup on the back, including a 50MP main camera with a 8MP depth sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens. The main camera uses a 1/1.55-inch sensor and supports OIS optical image stabilization; the telephoto lens has a 57mm equivalent focal length and supports 2.5x optical zoom.
In terms of battery life, the POCO X8s is equipped with a 6330mAh silicon-carbon battery and supports 100W wired fast charging in a body that is 8.06mm thick and weighs about 187g.
The device features an aluminum alloy metal frame and supports 3D ultrasonic screen fingerprint recognition, IP68 dust and water resistance, dual speakers, NFC, and infrared remote control. It is available in black, white, and blue.
Regarding pricing, according to overseas media reports on October 26, the POCO X8s will be priced from $399 globally for the 8GB+256GB version and $499 for the 12GB+512GB version.
