Xiaomi’s first fan-equipped phone is here! REDMI K90 Ultra specs leaked.

REDMI is expected to release its first flagship phone of the Year of the Horse, the REDMI K90 Ultra, as early as April. As Xiaomi’s first active cooling model, its biggest breakthrough lies in its integration of a built-in cooling fan, marking a new stage in its performance optimization through physical cooling.

According to a blogger’s leak, the K90 Ultra features a 1.5K resolution 165Hz LTPS high refresh rate flat screen and is powered by the high-performance MediaTek Dimensity 9500 flagship platform.

To support its extreme performance output, this device features a dedicated graphics chip and an impressive 8500mAh high-capacity battery. Furthermore, it boasts a full suite of high-end features, including custom-designed symmetrical dual speakers, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and IP68 dust and water resistance.

As a flagship device with ultimate performance, the K90 Ultra’s core highlight lies in its physical active cooling solution. Engineers not only embedded precision fans within the compact chassis, but also designed a complete set of dedicated air intake and exhaust channels.

This design utilizes physical air convection to rapidly remove heat from the core motherboard area. Compared to traditional heat dissipation materials, the active fan solution represents a significant leap in heat dissipation efficiency.

This cooling solution ensures that the flagship chip maintains its peak performance frequency during extended gaming sessions. This means that gamers will experience more stable and consistent frame rates under heavy loads, completely eliminating stuttering and throttling caused by overheating.

The release of the REDMI K90 Ultra indicates that Xiaomi phones are beginning to explore more aggressive hardware solutions in their pursuit of ultimate performance. For hardcore mobile gamers, this is undoubtedly the most anticipated performance monster of the year.
