The Xiaomi 17 Max was officially released last night, with prices starting at 4799 yuan, and a national subsidy price starting at 4299 yuan.

This new product has now arrived at our testing lab, and we’re sharing some pictures with you below.

In terms of appearance, the Xiaomi 17 Max adopts a straight screen and straight edge design, and is available in three colors: white, sky blue, and pixel black.

The front features a 6.9-inch SuperPixel flat screen with independent RGB pixel arrangement and 9.38 million sub-pixels, delivering display effects comparable to 2K resolution while consuming less power than a 1.5K screen. The screen is covered with third-generation Dragon Crystal Glass, significantly improving drop resistance and durability.

The core performance is powered by the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra platform, coupled with a three-dimensional ring-shaped cold pump cooling system, whose heat dissipation performance far surpasses that of traditional VC systems. Specially tuned for large screens, it can run Genshin Impact at extremely high settings for 5.7 hours continuously at a stable frame rate.

Battery life is one of the biggest highlights of this model. It features a built-in 8000mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery, making it Xiaomi’s best-performing model in terms of battery life to date, with a combined battery life of up to 20.8 hours and a video playback time of up to 33.3 hours. It also supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.

In terms of imaging, it comes standard with a Leica triple camera system with 50-megapixel sensors, including a Leica large-sensor main camera, a 3x optical periscope telephoto lens, and an ultra-wide-angle lens. It supports 200-megapixel mode, 6x lossless zoom, and macro shooting. It can also record 8K video and 4K live photos, meeting the needs of daily photography and landscape shooting.
