blogger Digital Chat Station revealed the parameter details of vivo X200S. The phone uses a 6.67-inch 1.5K LTPS domestic straight screen, the middle frame is made of metal, the back cover is made of glass, and the main white version is promoted.

In terms of core configuration, the phone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 series processor, 16GB of memory and TB of storage, a rear 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50-megapixel 3X periscope telephoto camera. The battery capacity is at least 6000mAh and supports 90W flash charging.

The blogger also mentioned that the structural design of vivo X200S will avoid the glare problem, so there is no need to worry.

Previously, Vivo’s Huang Tao responded to the glare problem of the X200 series, saying that “glare is caused by the curvature of the lens, and light will reflect between the two surfaces of the lens. When shooting under strong light, varying degrees of glare will appear as the angle of light changes. Glare is a long-term technical challenge faced by the entire optical photography work.”

Huang Tao said that whether it is a mobile phone or a professional camera, in scenes with bright light sources or sharp contrast between light and dark, such as strong sunlight or dim stadium spotlights, when the light source moves out of the picture, the light enters the lens at a certain angle (slightly different for different lenses), and off-screen glare may occur.

To address the glare issue, the vivo X200 series has pushed a software optimization solution. In addition to camera updates and optimizations, the phone album also uses AI technology to reduce glare. Users can turn it on in “Album” > “Picture Editing” > “AI Elimination” > “Glare Reduction”.

Back to the X200S series, this time the new vivo X200S continues the straight screen strategy of the previous generation, positioning itself as an all-round, lightweight, straight-screen imaging phone. The phone will be available as early as March.
