A tech blogger posted the battery life test results of Huawei’s new ultra-thin Mate70 Air on a short video platform.

It achieved an outstanding performance of continuously browsing Douyin for 14 hours with 5% battery remaining, and a maximum battery life of 14.5 hours.

The blogger’s test conditions were 30% screen brightness, 30% volume, and all Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, location services, NFC, and mobile data were enabled, with a single SIM card in standby mode.

The blogger also stated that during the test, the highest temperature of the Huawei Mate70 Air was only 34°C.

Furthermore, the Mate70 Air tested was equipped with the Kirin 9020B chip and the HarmonyOS 5 system. If the device were upgraded to the Kirin 9020A and HarmonyOS 6 system, the battery life would be even better.

The Huawei Mate70 Air’s long battery life is mainly attributed to its built-in 6500mAh high-capacity battery.

The battery uses advanced ultra-thin high-silicon anode technology, which significantly improves energy density while keeping the phone body only 6.6 mm thick.

In addition, the new Kirin 9020 series chips have undergone in-depth optimization in terms of energy efficiency, and their excellent power consumption control provides a solid hardware foundation for long battery life.

HarmonyOS, with its hardware and software synergy, also intelligently manages power consumption, further maximizing battery life.

The Huawei Mate 70 Air officially went on sale today, with a starting price of 4199 yuan on Huawei’s official website.
