Today, the much-anticipated iPhone Pocket officially went on sale. Will you buy one?

Apple and Issey Miyake’s new iPhone Pocket accessory is now officially on sale, priced at NT$1299 for the short strap version and NT$1899 for the long strap version.

According to Apple, this sale in mainland China will only be available at the Apple Jing’an Retail Store in Shanghai and on the Apple website, in limited quantities, while supplies last.

According to reports, the design of this product is inspired by “a piece of cloth” and features a unique 3D knitted one-piece structure that is compatible with all iPhones and other small personal items.

The official description states that this accessory “brings your iPhone with you in a wonderful way.”

When stretched, the fabric slightly reveals the contents, allowing users to view the iPhone screen. It can also be held in hand, tied to a bag, or worn directly on the body.

After its release, this accessory was met with a lot of criticism from netizens, with some saying it looked like a cup sleeve and others saying it resembled stockings.

In response to user feedback regarding the high price, Apple customer service stated that they rarely release “bag” type accessories. This Pocket supports multiple wearing methods and offers a wide range of colors. Collaboration products are usually priced higher (and also have multiple wearing methods).
