vivo S50 series scheduled for December release: Snapdragon 8 and Gen5 full-fledged “iron triangle”
The vivo S50 series is confirmed to be released in December, based on the pre-order page. The official team has also started to promote the series recently.
The leak claims that the vivo S50 series is codenamed “Battle Angel”. vivo product manager Han Boxiao posted that they have indeed gone to great lengths to make this generation of S a true “Battle Angel”.

The vivo S50 series is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen5, and all models come standard with LPDDR5X memory with a full speed of 9600Mbps. It also uses UFS4.1 storage, maximizing performance.
It is understood that the vivo S50 series includes two models, the S50 and the S50 Pro mini, with sizes of 6.59 inches and 6.31 inches respectively, and all models come standard with a periscope telephoto lens.
The vivo S50 Pro mini is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen5 platform, making it the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen5 small-screen flagship.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen5 chip uses TSMC’s N3P process and features an Oryon CPU architecture, including two 3.8GHz super cores and six 3.32GHz large cores. It is equipped with an Adreno 840 GPU and its AnTuTu benchmark score is expected to reach over 3.3 million.
According to the 3C certification of the vivo S50 series, the series will support 90W fast charging technology.
In terms of design, it maintains a simple and slim design while adopting a more mainstream lens module design, which enhances the overall texture while maintaining aesthetics.
