Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max Specifications Leaked: First to Feature 6.9-inch Ultra-Bright Screen
The online launch event for Huawei’s Mate 80 series, Mate X7, and other new products will be held on November 25 at 14:30, at which time Huawei’s two flagship phones will be officially released.
@DigitalChatStation has leaked some core specifications of the Mate 80 series. According to the blogger, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max/RS will exclusively feature a new generation of ultra-bright and clear Linglong screen, which is a dual-layer OLED, 6.9-inch 1.5K LTPO super large flat screen.
According to external sources, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max screen brightness is expected to reach 8000 nits, making it the brightest ever. The screen will remain clearly visible even in strong sunlight.
It is understood that the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max uses a dual-layer OLED, also known as a “Tandem OLED”. Simply put, a dual-layer OLED adds an additional light-emitting layer to the traditional single-layer OLED, theoretically achieving twice the brightness of a single-layer OLED.
In terms of imaging, it features a unique 50MP 1/1.28-inch ultra-large sensor main camera with ultra-high dynamic range, dual telephoto lenses, and second-generation Red Maple Imaging. Video shooting capabilities have been significantly upgraded, supporting a range of new features including movie effect mode, ultra-high-definition telephoto video, telephoto macro slow motion, full-range slow motion, ultra-high dynamic range main camera, and a golden cinematic style.
Furthermore, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max features an all-metal basalt architecture and is powered by the Kirin 9030 series, reaching a new height in domestic manufacturing performance. It also boasts robust heat dissipation capabilities to ensure the Kirin 9030 maintains optimal performance under all conditions, while minimizing heat generation and extending the lifespan of internal components.
According to the official website, the Huawei Mate 80 series offers four models: Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro Max, and Mate 80 RS Master.
The Mate 80 is available in three versions: 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, and 16GB+512GB. The Mate 80 Pro adds a 16GB+1TB version to the above.
The Mate 80 Pro is only available in two versions: 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB.
As for the Mate 80 RS Master, it is the only model that offers 20GB of memory, and it comes in two versions: 20GB+512GB and 20GB+1TB.
It is understood that the 20GB memory adopted by Huawei this time is a domestically customized solution, not the conventional 24GB.
