Apple will launch a brand new foldable iPhone next year, and one of the core selling points of this new product is its crease-free design. Many netizens have expressed that if Apple can truly overcome the crease problem, the foldable iPhone will be even more anticipated.

In response, Apple customer service stated that Apple’s official website has not released any specifications, pricing information, or launch plans for the foldable iPhone. Consumers should not trust unofficial leaks from third-party channels and should rely on authoritative information released on Apple’s official website, adhering to the principle of “not believing or spreading rumors.”

Customer service also stated that the specifications and pre-order dates for products planned for pre-sale next year will be updated and announced on the official website. Apple hopes to launch a foldable iPhone with an excellent user experience, but the specific product details are subject to the information released by the official website later.

It is understood that Foxconn has established a dedicated production line for foldable iPhones, with the screens exclusively supplied by Samsung.

This time, Apple took the lead in designing the panel structure and lamination method, and also worked with the supply chain to develop the key component bearing, which can avoid the problem of creases.

Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that foldable iPhone shipments will reach 8-10 million units in 2026, and are expected to grow to 25 million units in 2027.

Currently, brands such as Samsung and Huawei have already launched foldable products, while Apple is a latecomer. However, with its strong supply chain control and brand appeal, Apple is expected to quickly increase consumer acceptance of foldable products.
