Realme Narzo 90 & 90x Launched: 7,000 mAh Battery and 60W Fast Charging
Realme introduced two new Narzo series smartphones today: Narzo 90 and Narzo 90x.
Realme Narzo 90
The Realme Narzo 90 is equipped with the powerful Dimensity 6400 Max processor. It has up to 8GB of RAM for smooth multitasking and 128GB of built in storage which can be increased using a microSD card if needed. The phone runs on Realme UI 6.0 which is based on the somewhat outdated Android 15. However, Realme promises to keep the device updated with three Android upgrades and four years of security updates giving it a long software life.
The Narzo 90 features a 6.57 inch AMOLED display with FullHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It is protected by Dragontrail Star D+ glass and can achieve a peak brightness of 4,000 nits making it highly visible in bright environments. The display also includes a fingerprint sensor embedded underneath for fast and secure access while a small centered punch hole at the top holds the 50MP selfie camera.
The Realme Narzo 90 come with a 50MP rear camera paired with a 2MP monochrome sensor to enhance photo quality. The phone is powered by a massive 7,000 mAh battery that supports 60W fast charging allowing it to go from 1% to 50% in just 31 minutes. It also come with useful features like bypass charging, reverse wired charging and dual stereo speakers for good sound. It has excellent water and dust resistance with IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings. Despite all these features, the Narzo 90 remains slim and lightweight, measuring 7.79 mm in thickness and weighing only 181 g.
The Realme Narzo 90 is available in two attractive colors: Victory Gold and Carbon Black. Buyers can choose between two memory configurations: one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and another with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The 6GB model is priced at INR 16,999 and the 8GB model costs INR 18,499. The phone will officially go on sale in India from December 24 and can be bought online through Amazon.in.
Realme Narzo 90x
The Realme Narzo 90x is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor which handles everyday tasks smoothly. It offers up to 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage and you can increase the storage using a microSD card. The phone runs on Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. While it has the same software as other Realme devices the company has not provided any information about how many future Android or security updates this particular model will receive.
The Realme Narzo 90x comes with a large 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display that supports a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Dragontrail Star D+ glass and can reach a peak brightness of 1,200 nits making it easy to view even in bright sunlight. It is also designed to respond even when your hands are wet which is useful in rainy weather or during workouts. For cameras, the Narzo 90x comes with an 8MP selfie camera at the front and a 50MP main camera on the back with a flicker sensor for better photos.
Just like the Narzo 90, the Narzo 90x has a huge 7,000 mAh battery with 60W fast charging so it charges quickly. You can also use the phone to charge other devices using reverse wired charging. Other features include a convenient side mounted fingerprint scanner, a stylish Rhythm Pulse Light on the rear and protection against dust and water with an IP65 rating. The device measures 8.28 mm in thickness, weighs 212 g and comes in two attractive color options: Flash Blue and Nitro Blue.
Realme offers the Narzo 90x in two different memory options: one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, priced at INR 13,999 and another with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage priced at INR 15,499. The smartphone will be available for purchase in India starting December 23 and can be bought online through Amazon.in.
