OnePlus 16 Tipped to Receive a Significant Camera Update
The OnePlus 15 has only recently entered the market, meaning it is still at a very early point in its product life cycle. Despite this, early leaks about the next model have already surfaced, so information about the next-generation device is beginning to emerge. Tipster Digital Chat Station has reported that the OnePlus 16 is expected to feature a high-resolution 200MP camera sensor. This update follows another recent leak from the same tipster which indicated that the Oppo Find N6 is expected to launch with 200MP telephoto camera.

Digital Chat Station is confident that both the Oppo Find N6 and the OnePlus 16 will use the same camera hardware for their main and telephoto sensors. This is a strategy that two companies have used before. In earlier models the Oppo Find N5 and OnePlus 15 shared a similar camera setup with both smartphones featuring 50MP LYT 700 main camera and 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto sensor.
The OnePlus 15 5G is currently available in different storage and memory configurations with 256GB model paired with 12GB of RAM priced at $899.99 or €949.00, while the higher end 512GB variant with 16GB of RAM costs $999.99 or around €998.21. Meanwhile the OnePlus 16 is expected to make its official debut in October 2026 which means there is still plenty of time for additional leaks, rumors, and detailed information to surface before its launch.
