The Realme 16 Pro was officially revealed earlier this month and now, attention has shifted to its standard version. The Realme 16 has recently appeared in two separate listings on a Vietnamese online retailer, giving potential buyers a preview of the device. The device is shown in two color choices: black and white while the listings themselves include a full specification sheet, offering a complete overview of the phone’s features, hardware and other technical details.

Built around 6.57-inch AMOLED display, the Realme 16 offers Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate providing smooth and responsive visuals for everyday use and gaming. The screen can reach a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and protected by AGC DT-Star D+ tempered glass for enhanced durability. While the phone’s frame and back panel are made of plastic, it still deliver impressive durability with multiple ingress protection ratings including IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K guarding against dust, water and high pressure jets.

The most eye catching feature is on the rear of the device, where a camera module reminiscent of the Google Pixel’s design houses three distinct cameras, led by a powerful 50MP main sensor. Positioned alongside the camera module is a cleverly placed selfie mirror allowing users to capture detailed and high resolution selfies with the main camera rather than relying on a separate front facing sensor.

The Realme 16 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset and is available with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB of internal storage. Users will also be able to expand storage further through a microSD card. The smartphone draws power from a sizable 7,000 mAh battery that support 60W charging ensuring extended usage and rapid recharge times. The device runs on Android 16, presumably overlaid with Realme UI 6.0 for a customized interface. According to the Vietnamese listings, the Realme 16 is expected to launch in February.
