According to Fast Technology on February 25, digital blogger “Digital Chat Station” recently revealed that as of the 7th week of 2026, the activated sales of the iPhone 17 Pro Max in the Chinese market have exceeded 10 million units.

The average price of the iPhone 17 Pro Max is around 10,800 yuan, and it took only about 150 days to achieve sales of 10 million units, which is quite a strong performance.

It is understood that the iPhone 17 series was released last September. According to a report by market research firm Counterpoint Research, driven by the strong sales of the iPhone 17 series, Apple’s mobile phone sales in China increased by 37% year-on-year in October last year, and its market share rose to 25%.

The report indicates that the iPhone 17 series accounted for over 80% of Apple’s total sales that month, with both the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro Max achieving double-digit growth, driving an 8% year-on-year recovery in overall smartphone sales in China.

Apple’s first-quarter results for fiscal year 2026 showed revenue of $143.756 billion, a 16% year-over-year increase.

Of these, iPhone revenue reached $85.269 billion, a year-on-year increase of 23%, accounting for 59.3% of total revenue and becoming the core driver of performance growth.

Apple CEO Tim Cook stated that driven by unprecedented market demand, the iPhone achieved its best quarterly performance ever, with revenue in all regions setting new records.

It is worth mentioning that Greater China became a growth highlight this quarter, with revenue increasing by 38% year-on-year to US$25.53 billion.

Cook stated that record iPhone sales in China have driven double-digit growth in the number of users switching from Android devices to Apple.
