The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is set to feature a larger battery than its predecessor, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. According to a leak by Chinese digital blogger @Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be equipped with a 5180mAh battery, which is 180mAh more than the 5000mAh battery found in the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The fast charging specifications for the new model are yet to be disclosed.

In terms of other specifications, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to boast a full-depth micro-curved screen with a right-angled edge design for the middle frame. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 mobile platform and feature a rear quad-camera setup, each camera boasting 50 million pixels. Earlier it was also revealed that Xiaomi 14 series would be the first to support Wifi-7 Technology.

The primary camera of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is the Sony LYT900, an upgraded version of the IMX989. It features a 1-inch super-large base, making it Sony’s most powerful 1-inch main camera, expected to deliver higher dynamic range and richer color layers.

Additionally, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will include two long-focus lenses, one with 3.2x zoom and the other with 5x zoom, both supporting OIS optical stabilization. Xiaomi 14 Ultra would also be equipped with a new ultrasonic fingerprint technology as we reported earlier in the leaks.

The industrial design of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has also been adjusted. Unlike the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, the metal middle frame will not extend to the back of the phone, and a glass version will be offered (the Xiaomi 13 Ultra only had a technology nano-leather version). The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to be launched after the Spring Festival.
