According to a report by Leifeng.com on April 29, OPPO has announced an internal merger of OnePlus and Realme, forming a sub-series business unit.

The newly established sub-series business unit is headed by OPPO Senior Vice President Li Bingzhong, who will oversee all aspects of its management.

Xu Qi, the former president of realme’s marketing and service division, has been appointed as the head of the business unit’s marketing and service division, and will be responsible for the marketing and service systems of OnePlus and realme.

Earlier this year, OPPO released an internal letter announcing that realme would return to OPPO and become a sub-brand. realme, OnePlus and OPPO formed a strategic synergy, and realme CEO Li Bingzhong would be responsible for the overall sub-brand business.

Starting April 1, 2026, Realme’s after-sales service in China has been fully integrated into OPPO’s service network.
