Huawei’s Pura 80 series will be officially released in May next year.

Previously, Huawei Mate X6 Collector’s Edition launched the world’s first three-network satellite communication and added low-orbit satellite Internet. At that time, Yu Chengdong said that the low-orbit satellite Internet system was still under testing and was expected to start public testing in the second half of 2025.

Therefore, many people are looking forward to using this technology when Huawei’s Pura 80 series is released.
However, according to the latest news from blogger “Dingjiao Digital”, the Pura 80 series will not be able to use low-orbit satellite Internet for the time being.

It is reported that my country’s low-orbit satellite Internet system is still under construction. For example, the “Thousand Sails Constellation”, which launched a new batch of satellites not long ago, is also known as the “G60 Starlink”. It is a system built by Songjiang District, Shanghai.

According to the plan, by the end of 2030, the “Thousand Sails Constellation” will eventually build a network of more than 10,000 low-orbit broadband multimedia satellites.

The deployment of flat-panel high-throughput broadband communication satellites in low orbit has the advantages of being close to the ground, low cost, low power consumption, wide coverage, and low latency. It can provide satellite Internet services with large bandwidth, low latency, high quality, high security, and global coverage.

According to experts, 14,000 satellites are enough to cover the needs of most of our human living areas.
