Acer Sospiro A15 Released: Same Back Screen Design as Xiaomi 17 Pro, Unisoc T615 Chip
According to Fast Technology on July 13, Acer recently launched the Sospiro A15, an entry-level smartphone, in the Latin American market. The specific price has not yet been announced.
The biggest highlight of the Sospiro A15 is its rear screen design, which is similar to that of the Xiaomi 17 Pro series. The back of the phone features a 1.88-inch secondary screen with a resolution of 240×284.

This rear screen supports displaying notifications, controlling music playback, and can also act as a viewfinder for the rear camera, making it convenient for users to take selfies with the rear main camera.
However, compared to the Xiaomi 17 Pro series’ Magic Screen, the Sospiro A15’s screen is relatively basic in terms of feature richness and interactive gameplay.

The front features a 6.67-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1600×720 and supports a 120Hz refresh rate.
In terms of performance, the new phone is equipped with a Unisoc T615 octa-core chip, does not support 5G networks, has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space, and supports up to 1TB microSD card expansion.

The Sospiro A15 features a 64MP main rear camera and a 16MP front camera. It has a built-in 5000mAh battery and supports 18W wired fast charging.

In addition, the phone is equipped with NFC, a 3.5mm headphone jack, supports side fingerprint recognition and IP64 dust and water resistance, and comes pre-installed with the Android 16 operating system.
Overall, although the Sospiro A15 is positioned in the entry-level market, it has achieved a certain degree of differentiation with its 1.88-inch rear screen.
However, the fact that the Unisoc T615 does not support 5G and has 18W charging indicates that its core selling points are still mainly focused on its appearance design and basic practical functions.
