Galaxy Z Flip6 is here, the first third-generation Snapdragon 8 small foldable

 Samsung announced today that it will hold the Samsung Galaxy global new product launch conference at 21:00 on July 10.

At that time, Samsung’s foldable phones Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 will be released together with Galaxy Buds3 headphones and Galaxy Watch 7 series smart watches.

In the warm-up video, projections of the Eiffel Tower and stars appeared in turn, representing the launch event being held in France and Galaxy AI respectively.

It is understood that the 2024 Summer Olympics will be held in Paris. Samsung is one of the sponsors of the Olympics. It may also launch Olympic commemorative editions of Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6.

In terms of core configuration, Galaxy Z Flip6 is the world’s first small folding phone equipped with the third-generation Snapdragon 8. The outer screen has been upgraded from 3.7 inches to 3.9 inches, the inner screen is 6.7 inches, and supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Galaxy Z Flip6 has a rear 50-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a built-in 4000mAh battery, and supports 25W fast charging.

As for the Galaxy Z Fold6, the phone is also equipped with the third-generation Snapdragon 8, equipped with 12GB LPDDR5X memory and 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage.

The new phone has a 7.6-inch internal screen and a 6.3-inch external screen, with a rear 50-megapixel main camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens.
