RedMagic recently confirmed that it is working on its latest smartphone, the RedMagic 11 Air. This new model will replace the RedMagic 10 Air which the company launched in April of last year. A Geekbench test of a device with the model number NX799J, believed to be the 11 Air shows that it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

The device that appeared in the benchmark is most likely the RedMagic 11 Air. This prototype comes with 16GB of RAM but the company is expected to offer additional memory options when the phone officially launches. Some reports even suggest that a version with up to 24GB of RAM could be available. As expected, the new phone will run Android 16 out of the box.

According to Geekbench 6.5 results, the RedMagic 11 Air achieved a single core score of 3,075 and a multi core score of 9,934. Regarding its release, earlier rumors suggested that the phone could officially launch in China sometime this month. Like many recent RedMagic devices, it is also expected to come with an active cooling fan which has become a signature feature of the brand.

The recent TENAA listing for the RedMagic 11 Air shows some of its key specifications. The phone will feature a 6.85 inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1216 x 2688 pixels. It is powered by a large 6,780 mAh battery which is likely to be advertised as having a 7,000 mAh typical capacity. On the camera side, the device comes with a 50MP main rear camera, an 8MP secondary rear camera that is probably an ultrawide lens and a 16MP under-display front camera for selfies.

The RedMagic 11 Air measures 163.82 x 76.54 x 7.85mm and weighs 207 grams making it relatively slim and lightweight for a high performance phone. Storage options are expected to include 256GB, 512GB and 1TB variants.

For comparison, the previous RedMagic model the RedMagic 10 Air 5G was sold for £399 for the 256GB variant with 12GB RAM and £469 for the 512GB version with 16GB RAM.
