Honor Magic 8 series unveiled! The first batch of Qualcomm’s fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition
Qualcomm officially released the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition today. At the Snapdragon Summit, Honor also showcased its new flagship Honor Magic8 series.
According to the official photos of the real machine, the Honor Magic8 series has created a unique sky blue glaze color scheme, presenting an elegant and warm Song Dynasty porcelain texture.
There are even cicada wing patterns on the back of the watch, which are unique to porcelain cracks and appear and disappear as the light flows, integrating traditional Chinese culture with today’s most advanced technology.
It is reported that the phone will be released in October and will be one of the first fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition flagships.
The fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition is built with TSMC’s third-generation 3nm process. The CPU part continues to use the “2+6” full-large core architecture. The two Oryon v2 super cores have a main frequency of up to 4.6GHz, and the six large cores maintain a high frequency of 3.62GHz; the GPU integrates a more powerful new generation Adreno GPU with a main frequency of 1.2GHz.

At present, the AnTuTu score of the engineering machine has exceeded 4.5 million, but it is expected that Honor will be able to exert its stronger performance.
In April this year, the Honor GT Pro was the first to launch the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Leading Edition, and it once scored 34.44 million points, ranking first by a large margin and far ahead in the Android field.

The main reason behind this is Honor’s control over the underlying capabilities of the chip, which is achieved through technologies such as heat dissipation, heterogeneous fusion storage technology, and Phantom Engine to maximize the capabilities of the chip.
The Honor Magic8 series should also achieve industry-leading performance and continue to make breakthroughs in AI and imaging, which is worth looking forward to.
It is also worth mentioning that Honor has also achieved a dual-supreme version this time. The Honor MagicPad 3 Pro will also be equipped with the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition, allowing the tablet’s performance to keep up with the latest flagship phones and refresh the performance limit of Android tablets.
