Fast Technology reported that Tianma officially announced that the screen for the Honor Magic9 standard edition will be exclusively supplied by Tianma.

It is reported that Tianma has implemented its second-generation Tiangong screen core technology system in the Honor Magic9, bringing a comprehensive upgrade to the screen experience through underlying material innovation. This once again demonstrates Tianma’s core technological strength in the domestic high-end OLED field, as well as the high recognition it receives from leading terminal brands.

This screen features a 6.37-inch ultra-narrow four-sided equal bezel design, with bezels as narrow as 0.95mm, balancing an immersive visual experience with a comfortable grip, resulting in a more refined overall design.

It is equipped with Tianma’s new generation U11 luminescent substrate, belonging to Tianma’s second-generation Tiangong screen core technology system. The screen adopts NFB new fluorescent blue technology and the new generation PSF phosphorescent technology to reconstruct the underlying RGB light emission capabilities and improve display quality from the material level.

Among them, the NFB new fluorescent blue technology adopts an original double-layer blue light-emitting material architecture, which can effectively suppress non-radiative energy loss in the blue light emission process and significantly improve the blue light emission efficiency.

While reducing overall screen power consumption, it also extends screen lifespan. Combined with a hardware-level low blue light solution, this technology reduces harmful blue light output at the source, making eye protection more effective and reassuring.

The PSF next-generation green light technology achieves precise output of high-purity green light through an efficient multi-channel energy transfer mechanism. It successfully solves the industry problem of “difficulty in balancing luminous efficiency and lifespan” in traditional green light materials, resulting in higher screen color purity, more uniform image transitions, and less susceptibility to color decay and color distortion even after long-term use.

With the support of both NFB and PSF technologies, the Honor Magic9 achieves a leapfrog upgrade in three dimensions: the overall power consumption of the screen is reduced by 12%, effectively alleviating the power consumption pressure brought by the high refresh rate and high-definition display of flagship models, making the battery life more comfortable.

The screen lifespan is increased by 100%, and the picture remains clear and transparent with the original colors even after prolonged use; with hardware-level low blue light support, it protects the user’s eye health all day long, truly achieving an upgrade in performance, durability and eye protection in one.

In addition, the Honor Magic9 supports 3840Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming, which can effectively suppress screen flicker in low-light environments. Its peak brightness reaches 8000 nits, ensuring clear visibility even in bright light, thereby improving eye comfort in all scenarios.

With its comprehensive eye protection solution, including hardware-level low blue light, natural light-like eye protection, and adaptive dimming, the “Honor Oasis” can create a comfortable eye protection experience all day long.

Meanwhile, this screen covers 100% of the DCI-P3 wide color gamut, supports 1.07 billion true colors, and is precisely adapted to the Honor ARRI cinematic image tuning style. The screen display and the colors captured by the camera are highly matched, and can natively reproduce cinematic-quality images.
