Honor Magic9 series pre-orders open: 200MP ARRI gimbal-level main camera + 200MP ARRI Ultra Night Telephoto lens
Fast Technology reported that Honor Magic9 series officially announced the opening of pre-orders across all channels, and the new product launch event is scheduled to be held in Beijing on September 28th.
The biggest highlight of this new phone is the imaging system co-tuned with ARRI, a century-old film equipment manufacturer. The Pro Max version is equipped with dual 200-megapixel lenses, including a 200-megapixel ARRI gimbal-level main camera and a 200-megapixel ARRI Ultra Night Periscope Telephoto.

The gimbal-grade main camera uses a 1/1.28-inch sensor, paired with a large f/1.57 aperture and optical image stabilization, ensuring ample light intake and stronger image stability.
The ARRI Ultra Night Telephoto lens features a 1/1.4-inch large-sensor periscope design with an f/2.6 aperture and optical image stabilization. Whether shooting distant scenes in daylight or shooting telephoto in low light at night, it can retain rich image details and has stable imaging capabilities for both close-up and long-distance shooting.
The imaging system natively features ARRI LogC3 Hollywood industrial-grade encoding, paired with the exclusive ARRI Look cinematic tone, allowing users to capture videos and photos with a cinematic quality, fully preserving highlights and shadow details.
The official website also revealed the appearance of the new camera, which features a brand-new horizontal Deco lens module with three circular lenses arranged in a triangle. The lens area is engraved with the ARRI co-branded logo, paying homage to the design of classic movie cameras.
In addition to the phone itself, Honor will also launch professional imaging accessories, including a 200mm portable teleconverter and a 500mm teleconverter, along with a professional shooting handle.
