Honor Magic9 Super Edition debuts with an 11000mAh battery:
Fast Technology reported that a blogger revealed the specifications of the Honor Magic9 Super Edition.
The phone features a 6.81-inch 1.5K flat screen with bezels nearly 1mm wide; it’s powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Ultra platform and has a built-in active cooling fan; it has an 11000mAh battery, supporting 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging; it has a 50MP front-facing camera, and a rear camera setup consisting of a 200MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP 3x telephoto lens; the phone is 8.1mm thick and weighs 227g.
As a new member of the Magic9 series, the biggest highlight of the Honor Magic9 Super Edition is its built-in 11000mAh Qinghai Lake battery, which is the largest battery capacity Magic phone to date.
More importantly, the Honor Magic9 Super Edition is only 8.1mm thick and weighs only 227g. Its battery capacity is more than twice that of the iPhone 18 Pro Max, but the body is thinner and lighter (Note from Fast Technology: The iPhone 18 Pro Max has a 5391mAh battery, a thickness of 8.75mm, and a weight of 249g).
In addition, the Honor Magic9 Super Edition has a built-in cooling fan, which is significant because it upgrades heat dissipation from “passive heat conduction” to “active heat dissipation.” Traditional VC heat dissipation plates and graphene can only spread heat, and heat will still accumulate under high load, causing chip frequency reduction and frame rate fluctuations.
The built-in fan accelerates the expulsion of hot air through forced convection, allowing the chip to maintain full output for extended periods, resulting in greater stability during gaming, video editing, and other scenarios. Simultaneously, active cooling improves the device’s grip temperature, reducing discomfort from overheating. Intelligent speed control keeps the device quiet under low loads and only operates at full power under high loads. Better temperature control also helps slow battery aging and protect internal components.
The phone will be officially released on September 28th, along with the Honor Magic9 and Honor Magic9 Pro Max.
