Blogger Digital Chat Station hinted that the original Pro+ version of the Huawei Mate 80 series will be named Pro Max.

Compared to the Mate 80 Pro, the Mate 80 Pro Max has a larger screen size. The former has a 6.75-inch screen, while the latter has a 6.89-inch screen. Both have a 1.5K resolution and are equipped with a 50-megapixel dual telephoto lens. They are also the first to use the Kirin 9030 chip.

As a result, the Mate 80 Pro Max will adopt a five-camera setup, including a main camera, dual telephoto lenses, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a new generation of red maple-colored primary camera. The main camera will also support a variable aperture.

In addition, the Huawei Mate 80 Pro Max comes pre-installed with HarmonyOS 6. Compared to the system reconstruction of HarmonyOS 5, HarmonyOS 6 has made further technical framework updates to the kernel.

It adopts the brand-new HarmonyOS intelligent agent framework, which creates an omnipresent intelligent experience through more natural interaction methods, more powerful application intelligence and autonomous capabilities, more efficient continuous service loops, and more collaborative multi-agent cooperation, making devices understand you better, be more professional, and do things for you one step ahead.

The phone will be officially unveiled this month, and Huawei will launch four models at the same time: Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro Max, and Mate 80 RS.
