Huawei Mate 80 RS is reportedly equipped with Smartisan SC595XS

Huawei Mate 80 Pro+/Mate 80 RS will be equipped with a “590/595 super-large bottom main camera + new telephoto solution”.

Among them, 595 refers to SmartSens SC595XS, a newly released domestically produced ultra-large bottom sensor. It is even made of domestically produced 22nm technology, a pure domestically produced top-level CMOS.

It is reported that the SC595XS has a large 1/1.28-inch screen and is based on SmartSens SuperPixGain HDR technology, achieving an ultra-high dynamic range of up to 110dB, a significant improvement of approximately 22dB compared to the previous generation products on the same platform.

Therefore, SC595XS can help mobile phone cameras capture more details in bright and dark areas in environments with strong contrast between light and dark and complex lighting conditions, reduce the occurrence of overexposure of highlights in photos and videos, and loss of details in dark areas, and effectively solve the shooting difficulties of traditional pain point scenes such as backlighting, local strong light, and interweaving of light and dark.

In addition, the SC595XS supports 4K 60fps SuperPixGain HDR ultra-high dynamic range video and 4K 120fps ultra-high frame rate video recording.

The SC595XS features a large 1.22μm pixel size and is based on SmartSens’ patented SFCPixel-2 technology. Its SF center-mounted design improves sensitivity while reducing noise.

It supports dual-mode adaptive fast focus. In dark scenes, you can turn on the AllPix ADAF mode to achieve high-speed and accurate fast focus through 100% full-pixel focus.

In addition, thanks to the optimization of circuit and IP performance, the power consumption of SC595XS is significantly lower than that of previous generation products on the same platform, which can effectively reduce device heat during HD video shooting and improve the battery life of the entire device.

According to leaks, Huawei’s Mate 80 series will debut at the end of the year, launching the Kirin 9030 flagship chip, including four models: Mate 80, Mate 80 Pro, Mate 80 Pro+ and Mate 80 RS.
