Fast Technology reported that digital blogger “Digital Chat Station” revealed that
Huawei’s Pura90 series new member, the Pura90 Plus, is about to be launched. The new phone, codenamed “Lucia”, will be equipped with a 6.8-inch 1.5K large screen and a 50-megapixel 1-inch RYYB variable aperture main camera.

According to leaks, the Huawei Pura 90 Plus will feature a triangular triple-camera module design on the upper left corner of the device, and will be available in four colors: Obsidian Black, Snow White, Dawn Gold, and Sunset Purple.

Imaging is the focus of this leak. The blogger calls the phone’s 50-megapixel 1-inch RYYB variable aperture main camera “the only one this year.” The 1-inch large sensor improves light sensitivity in low-light environments, while the RYYB color filter array focuses on increasing light intake. Combined with the variable aperture design, the aperture size can be adjusted for different shooting scenarios.

Previously, digital bloggers “Dingjiao Digital” and “Gaoji Asen” had also revealed information about the Huawei Pura 90 Plus, saying that the overall configuration of the phone might refer to the previous generation Pura 80 Pro, and the new phone might be equipped with an overclocked version of the Kirin 9020, which is expected to be named Kirin 9025.
