Huawei’s most affordable foldable phone, the nova Flip S, is confirmed to use the Kirin 8000 processor.
The Huawei nova Flip S went on sale at the end of October, with a starting price of 3488 yuan, making it Huawei’s cheapest foldable screen to date.
After the new phone was released, some netizens used software to detect that the Huawei nova Flip S is equipped with the Kirin 8000 processor, the same as the Huawei nova Flip.
It is understood that the Kirin 8000 uses an 8-core 1+3+4 combination, with one 2.4GHz Cortex-A77 core, three 2.189GHz Cortex-A77 cores, and four 1.84GHz Cortex-A55 cores. The GPU is the reference Mali-G610.

According to the parameter comparison provided by Huawei customer service,
the Huawei nova Flip S adds Sky Blue and Sand Black color options, comes pre-installed with HarmonyOS 5.1 operating system, and other specifications are basically the same as the first generation.

The Huawei nova Flip S continues the design of the Huawei nova Flip and features a 2.14-inch 1:1 square external screen that supports features such as call fun display, cute pets, DIY wallpapers, efficiency desktop, and external screen live window.
The inner screen is a 6.94-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2690*1136 and supports an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120Hz LTPO.
In other aspects, the Huawei nova Flip S has a built-in 4400mAh battery, supports 66W wired fast charging, and features a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP secondary sensor.
