A new phone suspected to be Huawei Mate XT 2 has been connected to the network, and the device model is “GRL-AL20”.

Certification information shows that the phone will support Tiantong satellite communication and run the Hongmeng system.

According to the official naming rules, its official name should be “HUAWEI Mate XT 2 Ultimate Design”, and its English name is “HUAWEI Mate XT 2 Ultimate Design”.

According to reports, Huawei Mate XT 2 will be released in September. The overall design is consistent with the old model, equipped with the world’s largest 10.2-inch screen, and has multiple forms such as single-screen, dual-screen, and triple-screen.

Equipped with the Tiangong hinge system, it subverts the traditional structure and achieves both lightness and strength through comprehensive breakthroughs in core components such as hinges and screens.

The core will be upgraded to the Kirin 9020 chip. The CPU part consists of 1×Taishan large core 2.5GHz + 3×Taishan medium core 2.15GHz + 4×1.6GHz small core, and integrates Maleoon 920 840MHz GPU.

It is worth noting that the phone may also be the first to use eSIM for commercial purposes, which will save users a lot of internal space without the need to insert a physical SIM card. This is very important for foldable screens and thin and light models.

In addition, it was previously reported that the low-orbit satellite Internet system that Mate XT 2 is testing can enable direct Internet access even when there is no signal.
