Huawei’s Pura 90 series brings back gradient colors: the most beautiful Pura is here.
Huawei plans to launch its annual flagship imaging series, the Pura 90, in late April. The launch will include three models: the Pura 90, Pura 90 Pro, and Pura 90 Pro Max, aiming to further solidify its leading position in the mobile imaging field.
According to a blogger’s leak, the Huawei Pura 90 series retains the classic design of its predecessor, continuing to use the highly recognizable triangular camera module. The core highlight of this design is the return to gradient color schemes, providing users with a more layered visual experience.
This gradient process was once one of Huawei’s signature designs. Back in 2018, Huawei first launched Aurora and Sakura Pink Gold on the P20 series , which not only led the mobile phone aesthetic trend that year, but also made gradient colors a synonym for imaging flagship.
Huawei designers drew inspiration from Monet’s painting “Sunrise,” applying the flowing texture of light and shadow to the phone’s body. Under light, the phone’s body gleams beautifully, creating a dazzling visual effect.

After eight years, Huawei’s Pura 90 series returns to the gradient finish. This is not only a tribute to a generation of imaging flagships, but also a reinterpretation of mobile phone color aesthetics with the support of modern technology, making it highly anticipated.
In terms of core hardware, the Pura 90 series will be equipped with the powerful Kirin 9030 Pro chip. Notably, this generation of products has returned to a flat screen design across the entire series, satisfying the expectations of many flat screen enthusiasts.
In terms of screen specifications, the standard version is equipped with a 6.58-inch screen, while the Pro Max version boasts a larger 6.87-inch screen. All models support 1.5K resolution and feature a premium-quality right-angled metal frame, resulting in a more robust and comfortable grip.
Imaging capabilities remain the core selling point of this series. The Huawei Pura 90 series will feature a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens on the back, which significantly improves both long-distance detail capture and image stability under complex lighting conditions.
