According to reports, Apple will release a number of new products including the iPhone 16 series of mobile phones on September 10, which also indicates that some old products will officially withdraw from the stage of history.

As the current flagship series, the iPhone 15 Pro and its derivative versions will be removed from the shelves and discontinued after the release of the iPhone 16 series in accordance with Apple’s traditional practice to make room for the new generation of products.

As Apple’s first attempt at a Plus series model, the iPhone 14 Plus was not as popular as expected in the market. As sales failed to reach the expected target, this model will also be discontinued after the release of the iPhone 16 series.

In addition, it has been revealed that the future iPhone 17 series may cancel the Plus version and instead introduce a new ultra-thin design model.

The iPhone 13 standard version, which has been released for three years, will also be discontinued with the arrival of the iPhone 16 series. However, its successor, the iPhone 14 standard version, will take over the baton and may continue to attract consumers through a price reduction strategy.

In the field of smart watches, Apple is expected to launch new products such as Apple Watch Series 10, Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Apple Watch SE 3 at the September launch conference.

This means that the current models such as Apple Watch Series 9, Ultra 2 and SE 2 will complete their historical mission and be replaced by a new generation of products. In terms of audio equipment, Apple’s planned AirPods 4 series will replace the existing AirPods 2 and AirPods 3.

In the tablet computer field, Apple is expected to update its iPad product line in the second half of this year, which means that older models such as the long-standing iPad mini 6 and iPad 10 will face discontinuation to make way for the launch of new iPads.
