Fast Technology reported that well-known actress and singer Ju Jingyi posted a picture of a new phone on social media. Eagle-eyed netizens recognized that the phone in her hand was the Honor Robot Phone, the industry’s first robot phone.

The most distinctive feature of the Honor Robot Phone is its built-in pop-out four-degree-of-freedom titanium alloy mechanical gimbal at the top of the device. During normal use, the gimbal can be completely retracted inside the body; when needed, it pops out with a single click, supporting 360-degree rotation tracking and intelligent camera movement, with image stabilization reaching CIPA 5.5 level.

In terms of imaging, the Honor Robot Phone features a 200-megapixel gimbal main camera and collaborates with film industry giant ARRI, incorporating ARRI color science and Log-C encoding to provide video creation with a tuning style closer to that of the film industry. Combined with the on-device YOYO large model, the phone can also recognize the direction of sound and respond to users with nodding, shaking, and other gestures. Previously, in a World Cup short film, the Honor Robot Phone’s ability to “dance to music” garnered attention from many overseas fans.

Ju Jingyi’s recent phone showcase is seen as a prelude to her collaboration with Honor. Multiple sources indicate she will soon be the spokesperson for the Honor 700 series. This series offers two differentiating features compared to its predecessor: a native rear screen and an external teleconverter.

The rear screen can handle light interactions such as notifications and selfie framing, reducing the need for the main screen to be turned on frequently; the telephoto lens enhances telephoto capabilities, targeting long-distance shooting scenarios such as concerts and sporting events, further improving the phone’s practicality in different scenarios.

Guan Haitao, Global Chief Marketing Officer of Honor, stated that the internal codename for the Honor 700 series is Flora, the Roman goddess of flowers who governs spring. Behind this name lies a strategic ambition of the team: the Honor 700 series marks the beginning of a comprehensive renewal for the digital series.

As for what constitutes renewal, the direction is also very clear: to inherit flagship-level imaging capabilities, explore new ways for young people to play in the AI era, and at the same time maintain the advantages and strengths accumulated over time.
