Nubia Z80 Ultra was officially announced today and will be officially released at 14:00 on October 22.

At the same time, the official also announced the front and back appearance of the new phone, which is still a very family-style design, especially the front has the industry’s exclusive true full-screen design without any openings.

It is worth noting that the width of the borders on the top and left and right sides of the new phone is very narrow, and the black borders are almost disappearing, but the bottom border is limited by current technology and cannot be drastically reduced.

In addition, the body frame is designed as an overall curvature scheme, which can ensure that it will not hurt your hands under the large-size body and improve the grip feel.

In terms of configuration, the core is equipped with the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition. This chip uses the industry’s most advanced TSMC third-generation 3nm process. Compared with the previous N3E, the process level alone can bring nearly 5% performance improvement and 5% power consumption reduction.

In terms of CPU, the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition uses Qualcomm’s self-developed third-generation Oryon core, which is still configured with 2 super cores + 6 performance cores. The main frequency of the super core reaches 4.6GHz, and the main frequency of the performance core also reaches 3.62GHz. The performance of the third-generation Oryon CPU has increased by 20%.

In addition, the fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition uses a new Adreno GPU with a main frequency of 1.2GHz. Officials say that the new Adreno GPU has improved graphics performance by 23%.

In terms of imaging, this generation returns to the triple-camera solution, equipped with a unique large-bottom ultra-wide-angle lens. The sensor size is 1/1.55″, with 1μm large pixels and an aperture of f/1.8. The edge distortion control will be better and the performance is outstanding in the same range.
