REDMI K100 series will be upgraded this year and officially released in August, ahead of its big brother, the Xiaomi 18 series.

It is worth noting that the product planning of the K100 series has been adjusted again this year, with the larger model making a comeback, expected to be named K100 Pro.

According to the blogger Digital Chat Station, the new phone adopts a mid-size design, which should be around 6.59 inches. It features a flagship-level large rounded corner design, a 185Hz ultra-high refresh rate straight screen, and a super pixel solution, achieving 2K resolution with 1K power consumption.

It features a flagship dual-core Snapdragon 8E5 processor, a built-in 8500mAh battery, and supports 100W flash charging and wireless charging.

The imaging capabilities have also been improved, featuring a 200-megapixel main camera with a large sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto macro lens.

Other features include symmetrical speakers, 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance.

In addition, previous leaks have suggested that the K100 series will also be designed to be in line with Apple’s in terms of appearance and craftsmanship, with the metal frame and glass back panel using the same color scheme, resulting in a more integrated look and, of course, a higher cost.

As for the price, given the industry’s overall environment, a price increase for the K100 series is inevitable. However, sources say that the increase will be lower than that of competing products in the same class.
