Redmi K90 series is reportedly speeding up!
A digital blogger released news about the next-generation REDMI new phone and exposed some content of the K90 series.
According to the blogger, the next generation of REDMI new phones is expected to be greatly accelerated and the release time may be earlier than before.
In addition, the new phone will be equipped with a domestically produced new eye-protection gaming screen. The overall design of the phone adopts a large R angle + metal middle frame, and is equipped with an ultrasonic fingerprint.
In terms of imaging, the blogger said that the new phone will be expected to use a periscope telephoto lens, but it will only be limited to the Pro version.
Previously, the blogger also revealed that REDMI K90 Pro is testing a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, and there seems to be no plan to release the 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens.
However, this move will further narrow the positioning gap with Xiaomi’s digital series flagship phones. This is also the first flagship model in the REDMI K series equipped with a periscope telephoto lens.
For reference, the REDMI K80 series was released in November last year. If the release date of the K90 series is advanced this year, it may meet the public in September or October this year.
Based on the product types of the previous K series, the K90 series is expected to provide multiple models such as REDMI K90, REDMI K90 Pro, REDMI K90 Extreme Edition (expected to be released in 2026), equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 series flagship mobile platform and MediaTek Dimensity 9500+ processor, equipped with 1.5K and 2K OLED screens, and it is highly likely that the entire series will adopt a straight screen design.
