According to media reports on March 4th, pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S26 series in the South Korean market have exceeded 1.5 million units. This figure not only surpasses the previous generation’s record of 1.3 million units but also sets a new record for the highest pre-order volume in the history of Samsung’s Galaxy S series flagship models.

The Galaxy S26 series includes three models: the standard Galaxy S26, the large-screen Galaxy S26+, and the top-of-the-line flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra. In the South Korean domestic market, the series starts at 1,254,000 won, approximately 5,900 yuan.

In terms of core configuration, the Korean versions of the Galaxy S26 and S26+ are the first to feature Samsung’s own Exynos 2600 processor. This is not only the latest masterpiece from Samsung Semiconductor, but also the world’s first commercially available 2-nanometer mobile phone chip, marking a new era in mobile computing power.

Specifically, the Exynos 2600 adopts an extremely advanced core architecture, including one C1-Ultra super core with a main frequency of up to 3.80GHz, three C1-Pro big cores with a main frequency of 3.26GHz, and six C1-Pro efficiency cores with a main frequency of 2.76GHz, providing a solid guarantee for the efficient operation of the mobile phone.

In terms of performance, the Exynos 2600 represents a comprehensive leap forward compared to its predecessor. Its CPU performance has improved by 7%, and its GPU graphics processing performance has increased significantly by 29%. Furthermore, in AI processing capabilities, which are currently the most crucial aspect, it has achieved an explosive growth of 40%, enabling smoother execution of various large local models.

As for the top-of-the-line flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra, it is equipped with Qualcomm’s fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra flagship platform globally. It’s worth noting for Chinese consumers that, following past practice, all three models in the Chinese version of the Galaxy S26 series will come standard with a Snapdragon chip.

With its groundbreaking 2-nanometer process and outstanding pre-order performance, the Samsung Galaxy S26 series has once again demonstrated its dominance in the global Android flagship market.
