According to media reports, the camera specifications of Samsung’s new generation flagship mobile phone S25 Ultra, which will be released in January 2025, have been fully exposed recently.

According to the news shared by the whistleblower @AssembleDebug on the social platform, the main upgrade of the S25 Ultra’s camera configuration is the ultra-wide-angle lens.

The ultra-wide-angle lens uses the Samsung S5KJN3 photosensitive element, and the pixel has been greatly increased from 12 million to 50 million, while there are no major changes in other lens configurations.

As for the camera specifications of the S25 Ultra, its main lens continues to use the Samsung S5KHP2 photosensitive element of the S24 Ultra, with an ultra-high resolution of 200 million pixels.

In terms of telephoto lens, the S25 Ultra is equipped with a Sony IMX854 sensor, 50 million pixels, and supports 5x optical zoom; the other telephoto lens uses a Sony IMX754 sensor, 10 million pixels, and supports 3x optical zoom.

It is worth noting that the S23 Ultra is Samsung’s first mobile phone equipped with a 200-megapixel main camera. According to the latest information, the S25 Ultra will continue to use the same photosensitive element, which means that this main lens will not be changed for three consecutive generations.
