Fast Technology reported that Samsung officially released the W27, a phone designed for the world. The new phone continues the W series’ high-end business positioning, adopts a large foldable screen design, and is available in two colors: Lake Blue and Sunset Red.

It is understood that the Samsung W27 is based on the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, and while continuing the flagship hardware configuration, it incorporates Chinese aesthetic design to further highlight the product’s high-end business attributes.

In terms of appearance, the Samsung W27 is inspired by traditional Chinese glaze colors. The Jihu Blue color is derived from Jilan glaze, while the Jixia Red color is derived from Jihong glaze. The back panel of the phone is made of Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3 material.

The rear camera module features a frosted, semi-transparent gold design, paired with gold embossed textures on the armored aluminum frame and an ultra-thin hinge cover with a frosted metallic texture, resulting in a more refined overall style.

The back of the device also retains the W series’ signature “Caring for the World” logo, further highlighting the product’s series identity.

The new device weighs only about 215g, has an unfolded thickness of about 4.1mm, and a folded thickness of about 8.9mm.

The screen consists of a 6.5-inch external screen and an 8.0-inch internal screen, supporting a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3000 nits.

The bottom of the Samsung W27’s inner screen features a double-layer titanium cushioning layer for reinforcement, enhancing screen strength through a composite structure of titanium alloy film and titanium metal plate.

In terms of performance,
the new phone is equipped with Qualcomm’s fifth-generation Snapdragon 8 Ultra for Galaxy flagship chip, and offers two storage versions: 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB.

The imaging system features a triple rear camera setup, including a 200-megapixel wide-angle main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens, supporting 3x optical zoom and 8K video recording.

In terms of battery life, the Samsung W27 has a built-in 5000mAh battery, which the company claims can support up to 27 hours of continuous video playback.

In addition, the new phone is equipped with the One UI 9 operating system, supports multi-window split-screen, Galaxy AI and other functions, and is equipped with Tiantong satellite communication, which can realize satellite voice calls and text message communication when there is no terrestrial network signal.

The Samsung W27 also supports eSIM from domestic carriers, while retaining one physical SIM card.

In terms of pricing, the Samsung W27 16GB+512GB is priced at 18,999 yuan, and the 16GB+1TB version is priced at 21,999 yuan. Pre-orders are now open, and it will be officially launched on November 13.

The Samsung W27 also comes with a free satellite communication service worth 1,000 yuan, including one year of direct satellite connection, 300 minutes of satellite calls, 100 satellite text messages, and 200 million yuan worth of Telecom Tokens that will be available for free soon.
