Sony’s Xperia series is about to usher in a disruptive design change. The newly exposed Xperia 1 VII adopts an unprecedented horizontal camera arrangement. This significant change breaks Sony’s years of “vertical” rear camera layout tradition. The lens module protrudes significantly from the back of the phone, heralding a further improvement in photographic performance.

According to reliable sources, next year’s Xperia series will not only adopt a new naming strategy and product line adjustments, but its appearance design will also usher in major innovations. The horizontal camera design of Xperia 1 VII is the pioneer of this transformation.

Looking back at the Sony Xperia 1 VI, this flagship model has stood out with its excellent display technology. It is equipped with a 4K resolution screen and supports 1-120Hz intelligent dynamic refresh rate adjustment, which not only brings users the ultimate visual enjoyment, but also achieves better energy efficiency management.

In terms of performance, the Xperia 1 VI is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processor and up to 12GB of RAM, ensuring a smooth multitasking experience. Its 5000mAh large-capacity battery, combined with 30W fast charging technology, effectively alleviates battery life anxiety.

In terms of photography, the phone has a 48-megapixel main camera on the back and uses a 1/1.35-inch extra-large sensor. It not only has excellent image quality, but also supports macro shooting function. The minimum focusing distance can reach 4cm, making every detail clearly visible.

There is no Chinese version of Sony Xperia 1 VI, but the Hong Kong version is now available on Sony’s official website. The 12+256GB version is priced at HK$9,699 (approximately RMB 8,975), and the 12+512GB version is priced at HK$10,499 (approximately RMB 9,720).
