Fast Technology reported that Honor Magic V6, a foldable flagship phone, was released, starting at 8,999 yuan and available in four colors including Red Rabbit Red and Sunrise Gold.

The new phone performed exceptionally well after its launch. Honor announced that all versions of the Honor Magic V6 in the new Chitu Red color sold out across all e-commerce platforms within just 20 minutes of its release.

According to reports, the Chitu Red back cover is made of eco-friendly velvet leather with a super nano coating, which not only has a French luxury velvet sheen visually, but also has an outstanding delicate and soft touch.

In addition, the material also has the triple properties of being waterproof, scratch-resistant, and corrosion-resistant, which enhances the texture while ensuring durability.

In terms of design, the Honor Magic V6 continues the series’ slim and lightweight design, with a thickness of only 8.75mm when folded and as thin as 4.0mm when unfolded, and a total weight of about 219g.

The new device features a 7.95-inch internal screen and a 6.52-inch external screen, both of which support a 120Hz LTPO adaptive dynamic refresh rate and 4320Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming.

Meanwhile, the Honor Magic V6 features the industry’s first four-in-one coating technology, achieving 10 times the drop resistance, 15 times the scratch resistance, 3 times the wear resistance, and 3 times the anti-reflection, significantly enhancing screen durability.

In terms of battery life, this phone is the first to use the new generation Qinghai Lake Blade Battery, with a built-in Qinghai Lake battery of up to 7150mAh, making it the foldable screen flagship with the largest battery capacity in the industry and leading foldable screens into the 7000+mAh era.

According to the official statement, this battery has the industry’s highest silicon content of 32% and the highest energy density of 985Wh/L, breaking multiple records for mass-producible high-silicon batteries.

In terms of core configuration, the Honor Magic V6 is equipped with a fifth-generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Ultra chip, a 50-megapixel main rear camera, and supports up to 80W wired charging and 66W wireless charging.
