The Honor Magic9 series, ranked first in domestic activation volume among Android flagship phones
The Honor Magic9 series was launched and went on sale in China on September 28th, starting at 4499 yuan. On its first day of sales, the new phone became the top-selling Android flagship series.
On October 1, Honor’s Global Chief Marketing Officer, Guan Haitao, stated that despite shortages of some versions, the activation volume of the Magic9 series increased by more than 70% on the third day after its release compared to the same period of the previous generation.
On October 3, Guan Haitao further revealed that five days after the Magic9 series was launched, its activation volume still ranked first among Android flagship phones.
After a successful start in the domestic market, the Honor Magic9 series is about to enter the European market.
Currently, Honor’s official websites in the UK and France have launched pages related to the Magic9 series, clearly indicating that the new phone will be launched in the local markets in January 2027.
Honor has not yet announced the specific launch date and price.
Based on information displayed on the overseas official website, the main model currently being showcased is the Honor Magic9 Pro Max, which is available in three colors: Shadow Black, Moss Green, and Silver Salt.
In terms of storage, the European version of the Honor Magic9 Pro Max is confirmed to be equipped with 12GB of RAM and offer 256GB and 512GB storage options.
It is understood that the Honor Magic9 series has launched three models: Honor Magic9, Honor Magic9 Super Edition, and Honor Magic9 Pro Max, which respectively focus on small-screen imaging, large-screen high performance, and the top flagship market.
Among them, as the highest-end model in the series, the Honor Magic9 Pro Max focuses on enhancing its imaging capabilities, collaborating with Arri and featuring dual 200-megapixel cameras to further improve the photography, video, and professional image creation experience.
