The iQOO 15T, featuring the Dimensity 9500 processor and a 2K flat screen

Fast Technology News, May 13 – iQOO 15T officially announced its release date today, May 20 at 19:00, and will be available for purchase immediately upon release.

This is the first iQOO digital series phone based on the Dimensity platform. It is the world’s first phone to feature the Dimensity 9500 Monster version, which boasts exclusive underlying optimizations and a self-developed Q3 chip. In Genshin Impact, it runs at almost full frame rate for 30 minutes with the highest graphics settings, while consuming only 4.99W of power on average.

The front features a unique 6.82-inch 2K Everest screen, which is unmatched in its price range. In comparison, many top-of-the-line flagship phones in the same price range have already reverted to 1.5K screens.

iQOO product manager Wang Kan previously explained that there are two main reasons behind this: first, the hardware cost of a 2K screen is higher, which will directly increase the material expenditure of the whole device; second, the game adaptation of 2K resolution is more difficult, requiring a lot of additional development resources for special optimization.

However, in this environment, the iQOO 15T insists on having a 2K Everest screen as standard, making it the only performance flagship in its price range equipped with a 2K flat screen. It also relies on the self-developed Q3 e-sports chip to exclusively support 2K plus 144Hz super-resolution and super-frame concurrency, solving pain points.

The phone features a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 200-megapixel main sensor and a 50-megapixel secondary sensor.

It features a built-in 8000mAh super-large battery and is expected to support 100W wired fast charging, alleviating battery anxiety for heavy users.

The iQOO 15T adopts the same design language as the iQOO 15 Ultra, featuring a transparent square DECO design. It is available in three colors: Azure Cloud, Track Edition, and Legend Edition. The dimensions are 163.37×76.71×8.25mm, and it weighs approximately 216g.
