It is reported that the Mate 80 series will debut the new Kirin 9030 chip (the previous generation Mate 70 series debuted the Kirin 9020), achieving a performance leap through architectural optimization. It is also reported that Huawei has also stuffed a cooling fan into the Mate 80 series to further improve the performance ceiling of the Kirin chip.

In addition, the Huawei Mate 80 series is equipped with the HarmonyOS 6 operating system, which will bring a new HarmonyOS intelligent body framework.
