Huawei has officially announced that the nova 16 SE will be available for pre-order starting at 12:08 today and will be officially released at 14:30 on August 5.

The blogger Digital Chat Station revealed the specifications of the new phone in advance. It features a 6.84-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED flat screen with a peak brightness of 8000 nits, ensuring clear visibility of the screen content even in bright outdoor lighting conditions.

The imaging system is one of the biggest highlights of this phone. The first-generation red maple original color imaging technology, the same as that of flagship phones, is now available in mid-to-low-end models for the first time. The rear 50-megapixel RYYB main camera is equipped with an independent multispectral sensor, which can automatically correct color casts in backlight and mixed lighting conditions, and restore skin tones and landscape colors in portraits more closely to the real perception of the human eye.

The rear camera features a horizontally arranged large matrix design, and the body is available in black, white, and orange-blue gradient colors. The entire device uses a plastic frame and is equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint unlock solution.

The battery life specifications have been greatly upgraded, with a built-in 8500mAh high-capacity battery and 66W wired fast charging. It is expected to achieve two days on a single charge under normal use, alleviating battery life anxiety for mid-range models.

In terms of communication, it supports the same Beidou satellite communication as flagship models. Even in remote mountainous or suburban environments without terrestrial networks, users can send text and picture messages through the MeeTime app, providing an extra layer of security for outdoor travel and long-distance trips.
