The Xiaomi 18 Fold is equipped with a 6000mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery.
Fast Technology reported that Xiaomi founder Lei Jun officially announced that the Xiaomi 18 Fold is equipped with a 6000mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery, supporting 67W wired fast charging + 50W wireless fast charging.
Innovative battery stacking technology enables ultra-long battery life even in a slim and foldable body.

Last year’s Xiaomi 17 Pro series used L-shaped packaged irregular stacked battery technology. Due to its high cost and high safety requirements, this type of irregular battery was previously only used by iPhones.
The benefits are obvious: it can make the most of the internal space of the phone, filling all the empty space with batteries and increasing battery capacity.
Beyond its innovative manufacturing process, Xiaomi’s new battery also boasts an ultra-high silicon content of 20% and an energy density of up to 920Wh/L. This ultra-high battery energy density allows for a larger capacity to be packed into the same volume.
The Xiaomi 18 Fold will feature three major firsts: the self-developed Xuanjie O3 chip, Changxin LPDDR6 memory, and Surge OS 4.
The Xuanjie O3 is Xiaomi’s new generation of self-developed SoC. The CPU adopts a deca-core design with a maximum clock speed of 4.35GHz. Its multi-core score has exceeded 15,000 points for the first time, with a performance improvement of 60%. The GPU is the first to feature the 16-core G2-Ultra NX graphics processor, an unprecedented generational upgrade with an 85% performance improvement. It is currently the most powerful mobile graphics processing device, and its benchmark test completely crushes the A19 Pro. Its power consumption is reduced by 64% compared to the previous generation.

The Surge OS 4 debuts with a soft-light glass interactive material that can sense screen content and automatically adjust the panel’s transparency. Tap and drag operations are accompanied by a flowing light effect, greatly enhancing the sense of depth.
In terms of smoothness, the new system features dual technologies such as load calculation and memory preloading, coupled with a dedicated application runtime environment. The official statement claims that it is “smooth and seamless.”
The AI core has been upgraded to Super Xiao Ai 2.0, built on Xiaomi MiMo’s self-developed large model. It has a built-in expert mode and can complete tasks such as album selection, travel planning, whole-house smart linkage, and vehicle pre-adjustment with just one sentence. It can also independently generate in-depth research reports, PPTs, and simple web pages. It supports cross-device dialogue relay between Windows and macOS and remote access to computer files.
